At New Life, we believe strongly in using Creative Arts to create a memorable experience each and every service we have.  Each weekend is sprinkled with different elements from videos to graphics to stage design to live performance to help each New Lifer fully engage with the main idea of each service.  Our belief is that these elements will help each person connect with the message in a more relatable way.

What We Do

  • Create Media Content Such as Videos, Graphics, and Stage Elements to Help People Connect Visually with the Big Idea for Each Service
  • Produce Weekly Services by Providing Live Audio/Visual/Lighting Components to Create a Memorable Weekend Experience Each Service
  • Assist Communication Methods Through Websites, Social Media, and Other Media Outlets

Why Do We Use Videos?

Most American homes have multiple TVs.  It’s one of the primary methods that our generation uses to engage the world around us.  We use videos as a familiar media avenue to help New Lifers engage visually with the Big Idea of the Service.  We will use serious to very humorous videos at times to communicate the message.

Why Use Series Graphics?

We use graphics to pull together a central idea or theme for our teaching series for much the same reason we use videos.  The visual content will aid people in connecting the big idea during the service with something they can visualize.

Why is Production So Important?

We think production is critical.  In fact, if you know it’s there, then we haven’t done a good enough of a job.  We consider production in a service to be the operation of all the technical components such as audio, visual, music, and lighting that add (not take away) from the service experience.  Our goal is to reduce distraction and aid our live services by executing well planned and thought out transitions.

How Does This All Work?

It all starts with dedicated volunteers that pour their talents and weekends into New Life to make it all happen.  These volunteers are involved in a detailed process that starts with mapping out our services by determining the best flow in who is doing what and when.  Once this flow is determined, technical details are discussed and put into place.

Each service has volunteers operating live sound mixing boards, visual presentation software, lighting consoles, cameras, and live streaming components.
